Connect Shopify
Link your Shopify installation to the correct AXO site.
All connectors · Checked against AXO’s implementation in October 2026.
Prepare access
Use an owner or admin account in AXO and confirm the selected site. Have permission to authorize the external account or create its server credentials. Keep secrets in the connector’s protected configuration.

Connect
- Install the AXO Shopify app using the installation link supplied for your deployment, then complete Shopify’s authorization.
- On Connect your Shopify store, choose Link to site and click Link store.
- Review setup results for the theme configuration and checkout pixel. Open the theme editor, enable the AXO app embed, and save.
- Check imported customer/profile data and catalog content. Configure consent before enabling visitor collection.
Verify the result
Linking reports theme and web-pixel setup independently. An installed app with a disabled theme embed will not personalize the storefront. The generic Shopify catalog tile currently does not open a complete installer.
Record the AXO integration or trigger result and the receiving system’s result. A saved configuration, credential check, and completed delivery establish different things. Use a controlled destination for a test that writes data or sends a message.
Fix a failed connection
If the linking screen lacks the shop or link token, restart from the app installation; do not invent a token. Ask AXO for the deployment’s install link if none is supplied.
For a saved catalog connector, open Health to read the latest error, then repair the settings through the setup method on this page. Pause delivery while correcting an unintended destination. Reconnect OAuth when its grant is revoked; for key-based connections, save the replacement key, verify it, then revoke the old key at the provider.
